Berg Kongō (金剛山)

Der Berg Kongō (Kongōsan, 金剛山, 1.125 m) liegt an der Grenze zwischen den Präfekturen Osaka und Nara. Er beherbergt den höchsten Punkt der Präfektur Osaka und wird seit jeher als heiliger Berg verehrt. Die Tradition der „täglichen Bergbesteigung“ ist hier stark verankert; viele Wanderer führen einen Zähler ihrer Besuche — einer der ganzjährig beliebtesten Gipfel im Kansai.
Vom Bahnhof Kawachi-Nagano fährt der Nankai-Bus direkt zum Trailhead Kongō. Vom Bahnhof Tondabayashi nimmt man Nankai-Bus und kommunalen Bus Chihaya-Akasaka in Kombination.

1.【Hinweg】Bahnhof Kawachi-Nagano → Trailhead Kongō

Von der Bushaltestelle vor dem Bahnhof Kawachi-Nagano nehmen Sie den Nankai-Bus Richtung Berg Kongō (Fushimi-tōge-guchi) und steigen am Trailhead Kongō (Chihaya-hondō-guchi) aus.

Die Kongōsan-Seilbahn ist seit 2019 außer Betrieb und wurde 2022 offiziell stillgelegt. Die Busse verkehren weiterhin.

2.【Hinweg】Bahnhof Tondabayashi → Trailhead Kongō

Vom Bahnhof Tondabayashi zum Trailhead Kongō ist ein Umstieg an Chihaya-Akasaka-mura-ritsu-chūgakkō-mae (vor der Gemeinde-Mittelschule Chihaya-Akasaka) erforderlich.

Schritt 1: Von Tondabayashi nach Chihaya-Akasaka-mura-ritsu-chūgakkō-mae mit dem Nankai-Bus (ca. 24 Min)
Schritt 2: Von Chihaya-Akasaka-mura-ritsu-chūgakkō-mae zum Trailhead Kongō mit dem Chihaya-Akasaka-Gemeindebus (ca. 16 Min)

Gesamtfahrzeit: ca. 44 Min (inkl. Umsteigezeit)
Fahrpreis: 540 ¥ insgesamt (Nankai-Bus 330 ¥ + Gemeindebus 210 ¥)

Der Kongō-Bus wurde am 20. Dezember 2023 eingestellt. Bei seinem Nachfolger „Kongō Furusato Bus“ (Gemeindebus der 4 Kommunen) muss in Chihaya-Akasaka-mura-ritsu-chūgakkō-mae auf einen Kleinbus (Poncho) umgestiegen werden. IC-Karten sind nur auf der Nankai-Bus-Strecke nutzbar; der Gemeindebus akzeptiert nur Bargeld.

Der Direktbus vom Bahnhof Tondabayashi zum Trailhead Katsuragi / Mizukoshi-Pass wurde eingestellt. Aktuell fährt man mit dem „Kongō Furusato Bus“ (Gemeindebus der 4 Kommunen) bis zur Haltestelle „Higashi-Mikumari“ und geht dann zu Fuß weiter.

  • Higashi-Mikumari → Trailhead Katsuragi: ca. 45 Min zu Fuß (Aufstieg)
  • Higashi-Mikumari → Mizukoshi-Pass: ca. 70 Min zu Fuß (Aufstieg)

6.【Rückweg】Mizukoshi-Pass → Trailhead Katsuragi → Bahnhof Tondabayashi

Der Direktbus vom Mizukoshi-Pass / Trailhead Katsuragi zum Bahnhof Tondabayashi wurde eingestellt. Beim Abstieg muss man zu Fuß zur Haltestelle „Higashi-Mikumari“ zurückgehen und von dort mit dem „Kongō Furusato Bus“ zum Bahnhof Tondabayashi fahren.

  • Mizukoshi-Pass → Higashi-Mikumari: ca. 60 Min zu Fuß (Abstieg)
  • Trailhead Katsuragi → Higashi-Mikumari: ca. 35 Min zu Fuß (Abstieg)
